Beloved brother of Marie Michaels (Joseph dc) and the late Gabriel Thomas, Michael Thomas (Helen), Josephine Thomas, Emeline Thomas, Madeline Michael (Maron "Duke"), Daisy Abdallah (George), Victoria Peters (Edward), and George Thomas (Mary living). Uncle, great uncle, and great great uncle to many.

Sam was a World War II Army veteran who survived 5 major battles during the war. He was involved in the Battle of the Bulge and the Normandy Invasion. Retired from General Motors as a purchasing agent at the age of 55. Devoted to his church as a member as well as supporter.

Sam was always available to his family to help out in any circumstance. A real "Dad" to all his nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the St. Maron Maronite Church 11466 Kercheval Street Detroit, MI. 48214. Visitation will also be at the Church the same day from 9:30 AM until the time of service
